Money Matters: Readiness & Sustainability is a Lunch & Learn designed for nonprofit and for-profit organizations that want to strengthen the financial systems and structures that support long term sustainability.

Many organizations focus on finding funding opportunities. This session focuses on the foundation that supports funding readiness. Strong financial practices, organized documentation, clear reporting, and sustainable systems can help organizations make informed decisions and better position themselves for future opportunities.

During this session, participants will explore:

• Financial organization and record keeping

• Budget development and financial planning

• Understanding financial statements

• Internal controls and accountability

• Sustainability planning and financial readiness

Whether you are a nonprofit leader, entrepreneur, small business owner, or community organization, this session is designed to support knowledge acquisition and knowledge transfer around financial readiness.

This program is part of the Hillsborough County Black Chamber of Commerce’s Get Grant Ready initiative, which focuses on helping organizations strengthen the foundational elements that support long term growth and readiness.
