The Hillsborough County Black Chamber of Commerce invites you to The Shirley Chisholm 2024 Year of the Women: Candidate Celebration. This unique and engaging event is designed to connect our community members directly with the political candidates and voter issues in the upcoming election. While also celebrating Women of color and the fight for the VOTE. Attendees can participate in a straw poll administered by HCBCC, with winners announced at the close of the evening. We will also honor our recent election winners! Join us for an evening of insightful discussions, meaningful interactions, and a chance to get to know the individuals shaping our future.


Date: September 20, 2024 Time: VIP 5:00-6:00 PM, General Admission 6:00-9:00 PM Location: South University, Tampa, 4401 N Himes Ave.

1. Booths: Explore booths hosted by candidates, sponsor businesses, various community organizations, and advocacy groups. You can learn more about policies, initiatives, and products/services available in our community and learn how to get involved.
2. Networking Opportunities: Connect with community members and build relationships to strengthen our collective voice. Light refreshments will be served to enhance your networking experience.
3. VIP Meet and Greet: As a special feature, we are offering an exclusive VIP meet-and-greet experience with the candidates. This intimate setting will allow for more personal conversations, giving you the chance to delve deeper into each candidate's policies and visions.

1. Sponsorships: This is an opportunity to engage with candidates, members, and guests to highlight your business, initiatives, or campaign before, during, and after the event.
2. Booths: Booths are available to candidates and advocacy groups. Check out the Premium Booth Option!
3. Tickets: Register early for the pre-registered price or upgrade to a VIP Ticket to engage with candidates in the VIP area 1 hour earlier than the event (only 30 VIP tickets will be sold).
